World Around Us Fun!

Pupils in 5&6 worked in pairs to experiment with simple electrical circuits. Each group had the task of building an electrical circuit that would power a fan or light a bulb. Pupils learned the difference between a positive and negative pole and how a complete circuit must be built in order to get a bulb to light. The children also learned about how electricity is made and transported to our homes as well as the potential dangers when working with electricity.
