Today we had our first music session with Mrs Moore. We talked about what a ‘beat’ was and we used our listening ears to listen to beats in music. We also realized that we have a beat in our body our ‘heart beat’. Next we copied the movements of animals on the screen to music. Our heart beat was faster after we carried out the movements. We enjoyed listening to the song ‘Wind the bobbin up’ and we explored the instruments used in this particular nursery rhyme. Our class are so clever, we found all the instruments in the piece. We then moved onto the song ‘Head shoulders knees and toes’. Wow... it was the most fun. The music was sometimes fast and sometimes it was slow. We loved doing all the actions. Thank you Mrs Moore.
