Dear Parents,
As we begin this phase of remote learning, I would like to draw your attention to a fantastic resource that we use in school for our P5-P7 pupils: Mathletics. Mrs Carvill, our Numeracy Co-ordinator has rolled this out to all our pupils P1-P7. It is a super tool, where pupils can log on with a specific user and password. Pupils are assigned tasks remotely which they can complete online. Their class teacher can monitor their progress as each question and topic is completed.
Pupils have their home learning packs which covers a lot of good revision and consolidation of important areas of school work in Literacy and Numeracy. With Mathletics as well, pupils can have easy access to a wealth of topics and learning. Our P5-P7 pupils have loved using this in class and speak very positively about it. I would encourage all our pupils to give it a go and get involved.
As we have now set up P1-P4 usernames and passwords, I think the best way to administer the children's usernames and passwords is via the school text service. Over the next few days parents will receive their child's username and password where they can log onto www.mathletics.com and get started.
