The children are using their addition and subtraction skills from the last two weeks to pay for items in the role play shop. The children in P1 were in the cafe focusing on paying with 1p and 2p coins although some can already use 5p too.
The P2 children were in the toy shop buying two items and adding totals to see how much they needed to pay. They were selecting and combining coins to pay and recording on whiteboards.
