Meet our new house teams. Our new P1 children have been allocated a house team to be part of for their time in Darkley Primary School. The teams have been named as the Beamers, Tenters, Spinners and Weavers. The aim for each child is to get points for their team. At the end of each term the winning team receives a prize. Points are given in a coloured token and the tokens are counted by the house captain each week. Each child also received a coloured wristband that they should wear each day as part of their uniform. The wristband reminds children and staff what house they belong to so they can collect the correct coloured token for their house. The competition has already started to see which team has the most points. Look at all the happy faces.
