We held a fashion show in our school assembly hall on Tuesday 30th October 2012 in order to raise money for Newry Hospice. We were delighted to have the Lord Mayor of Armagh in attendance (Miss Sharon Haughey), Deputy Lord Mayor (Mrs Mc Roberts) and members of the Murphy family. The Murphy family sadly lost their son and brother last year after suffering from Cancer. Stephen Murphy was a past pupil of the school and the money was donated to Newry Hospice in his memory.
The fashion show was a roaring success and all children dressed up in various costumes and entertained on the catwalk. Parents and other members of the local community came along to join in the Halloween fun. Tea, coffee and apple tarts went down a treat among the audience. This event raised £300
