Exploring ice

We left containers of water in different outside locations overnight to see what happened.  
There was so much snow that Mrs Nugent had to clear a track at the back door so that we could get out! We found that most of the containers had frozen over, and were really surprised to find that some of them hadn't frozen at all.  Using a magnifying glass we took a closer look at the frozen water.
