Darkley Shines at the Apple Blossom Swimming Gala!

On Friday 10th of May P5-P7 pupils represented our school brilliantly once more at the Apple Blossom Swimming Gala. Lots of preparations had taken place in the build up to this exciting day. There were many schools there with an outstanding standard on display. Darkley was as ever in the thick of the action, reaching the final of the Apple Blossom Shield. It was amazing to see our school compete so proudly amongst the bigger schools and hold their own. Everyone in our school is so proud of all the boys and girls who represented Darkley with such enthusiasm. A special word of congratulations must go to Megan in P7 who for the second year in a row picked up two medals for the butterfly and front crawl. She is an extremely talented swimmer who competes at the highest levels with the Armagh Swimming Club. Your school is very proud of you Megan!
