Darkley Primary School Cake Sale

On the 18th June, Darkley held a cake sale to raise funds for school resources. Pupils were busy wheeling and dealing at the various tables which were full of cakes, buns, scones, pancakes and every treat you could imagine. Over £200 pound was raised in a very successful morning. Parents were absolutely fantastic in supporting this event by baking and sending in the many different kinds of buns and cakes. The assembly hall was a hive of excitement as parents and pupils gathered to buy and sample the wonderful flavours and delicious treats that were on display. Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and friends of Darkley who made such an effort to support the school. Another word of thanks must also go to our brilliant pupils who supported the event and raised a lot of money. Well done one and all.
