P1/2 Pirate Fun Day

On Friday the 7th of June, P1/2 pupils came to school dressed in their pirate outfits. They had a magical day where they entertained parents with pirate songs and ate outside with a pirate themed picnic, all washed down with rum. Pupils in P1/2 have been focusing on pirates as their topic in school and their colourful class is a hive of pirate activity where pupils can sail the seven seas and collect treasure and follow maps where x marks the spot. They also had the opportunity to put their pirate sword skills to the test when they had to battle a piñata filled with treats. Parents were invited to share in the excitement and a very memorable day was had by all. Photos of the pirate day can be found in the gallery section.
